This policy explains what personal information is collected when you visit this site or contact us, how it is used and protected, and the rights the law gives you. We collect the minimum necessary and never sell it.

The information we collect

If you fill in the contact form, we collect the information you enter (name, company, role, email, phone, subject and message content) in order to answer your enquiry. If you sign up for news, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending you those communications. This site also uses a cookie-free audience measurement operated by PmeWeb, which does not identify visitors and does not track you from one site to another: only aggregate counts (page views, visits) are kept. IP addresses are processed momentarily for security purposes, to prevent abuse, and are never retained.

How we use it

Your information is used only to answer your enquiry, to send you the news you signed up for, and to keep the site working and secure. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it and do not pass it to third parties for commercial purposes. You can unsubscribe from the news at any time.

Our providers

To provide this service we rely on trusted providers: Cloudflare (hosting, domain name registration, bot protection and delivery of the emails generated by the contact form and by the news sign-up) and PmeWeb (site design, maintenance and cookie-free audience measurement). These providers process your information only on our instructions and may be located outside Quebec.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may at any time request the deletion of the information we hold about you.

Your rights

Under Quebec’s Law 25, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, its correction or its deletion. To exercise these rights, or for any question, write to the person responsible for the protection of personal information: info@omnovalabs.com. We respond within 30 days.
